Overview / 01

CoTo Prints needed the warmth of a small maker business with the capabilities of a modern store. The site supports both catalog products and the less predictable process of requesting something custom.

The challenge / 02

Start with the real problem.

Traditional storefronts handle fixed products well, but custom printing involves files, conversations, quotes, fulfillment decisions, and customer follow-up. The experience needed to support both paths without feeling fragmented.

The build / 03

Shape the system around it.

I built a unified storefront with product browsing, cart and checkout, customer accounts, custom requests, order history, rewards, and a secured administration area for the team managing the shop.

Selected work / 04

What I built.

Four parts of the project that show the thinking behind the finished experience.

01

Custom storefront

A responsive catalog and purchasing flow shaped around the brand instead of an off-the-shelf theme.

02

Square payments

Secure checkout, webhook handling, refunds, and order state stay synchronized with the payment provider.

03

Customer accounts

Accounts bring together orders, addresses, custom requests, preferences, and a loyalty experience.

04

Shop administration

Products, categories, customers, orders, fulfillment, newsletters, and security tools are managed in one place.

Under the hood / 05

Built with the right tools for the job.

  • 01 Astro
  • 02 TypeScript
  • 03 PostgreSQL
  • 04 Drizzle
  • 05 Better Auth
  • 06 Square
  • 07 Docker

The outcome / 06

CoTo Prints now has a distinctive home for the brand and an operational platform that carries an order from first visit through payment, fulfillment, and future customer engagement.
